About Us
Ramila Padiachy, DNM®, D. Ac.
Ramila Padiachy, founder and owner of Ramila’s Healing Arts Clinic is internationally recognized as an accomplished healer, Doctor of Natural Medicine®, and public speaker.
Since the Clinic opened its doors in 1992, Ramila has been committed to helping ot
hers improve their health and live a better quality of life. She understands first-hand the frustration and difficulty caused by unidentified and so-called “untreatable” ailments. Her personal health story spans 15 years, when she suffered from several health problems including dermographism – a skin condition sometimes called skin writing, recurring cystitis and vaginitis, canker sores, hay fever, and a “foggy brain.”
Originally from South Africa, where she owned and managed two businesses with her husband – following a career in the food and chemical industries – she was faced with a career-changing decision when she immigrated to Canada. Ramila made the leap, following the voice that told her she “needed to work with and help people,” to pursue a career in complementary medicine.
For over 16 years, Ramila has been helping people across the globe rediscover their health and find relief by addressing the root causes of “untreatable” symptoms. She has travelled extensively throughout Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Africa educating people on the importance of proper nutrition and health and lecturing on “Nutrition and Supplementation in the 21st Century.”
Ramila is a member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association and a member of The Canadian Council of Certified Acupuncturists.
A Certified Iridologist, Certified Reflexologist and wholistic allergist, Ramila also holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture from The Open International University for Complementary Medicine and a Doctorate in Naturopathy from The University of Westbrook in New Mexico, USA. In addition to her extensive specialized training in alternative medicine, Ramila studied Chemistry at the University of South Africa.
Megs Padiachy
Megs Padiachy, co-owner of Ramila’s Healing Arts Clinic is a Holistic Consultant committed to helping people find peaceful enjoyment by realizing their true health.
Exposed at a young age to the physical and emotional affects of serious illness, he watched both his parents suffer through chronic disease. Megs knew then that he wanted to live a long, healthy life and help others do the same.
After moving to Canada, Megs began a career in the travel industry to fulfill his love of travel and culture. However, after seeing the tremendous effects alternative medicine had, not only on his wife’s health, but the clients that visited the Clinic, Megs decided to change his career path and pursue his dream of helping others live healthier lives. He joined Ramila in 1995, adding a new dimension to the Clinic with a Shiatsu practice.
Megs’ own career history gives him the ability to understand the daily challenges and limitations – physical, environmental and emotional – of his diverse clientele; factors that that may be contributing to their current health conditions. Along with his entrepreneurial experience owning and operating two businesses, Megs brings with him experience in the transport, mining supplies and motorboat manufacturing industries.
Megs is a Certified Reflexologist, Certified Shiatsu Therapist and wholistic allergist.
Together, Megs and Ramila are dedicated to empowering each of their clients by providing them with the tools and resources they need to live healthier, happier lives.
